Read the truth about Logitech G930 Review :
“PROS: These are rugged – quality construction. In the last year I’ve been through several pairs of less expensive headphones that were cheap plastic. But I’ve had these a couple of months and nothing is loose, nothing is bent. The sound is *amazing*, especially with the surround. They sound so real I find myself taking them off sometimes when I turn it up loud, thinking that my my real speakers are on and the neighbors will complain. But nope, it just sounds that realistic. The little “roller” volume control is a VERY good touch – someone hit a home run with that. Allows you to adjust the volume much more quickly than two push buttons.
CONS:
I have only a few small issues with this headset – other than these, it is almost perfect:1. To turn the headset off/on, you’re supposed to hold down the power button. Problem is, there is no feedback (either visual or audible) to know how long to hold the button down – and the length of time seems to vary based on whether the set is plugged in or not, or just if the headset is having a bad day or something. The LEDs flash when turning the set on/off, but only AFTER you let up on the button.
2. Sometimes if I power the unit on with the transmitter already plugged in, the software doesn’t connect to it correctly. The result is that the roller volume control doesn’t change the volume. So you can still hear, you just can’t turn it down if its too loud. You have to unplug and plug in the transmitter. So don’t plug it into the back of the case in an inaccessible place – you’ll be unplugging/plugging it in often.
3. The software for using the G buttons was designed to send specific keystrokes to specific programs. And I guess that’s okay if you’re using it only for games and media players. But it means that you can’t send generic keystrokes to the entire system (such as just simulating the spacebar, to start/stop the Netflix or Hulu video players). But, I did just find a developer’s kit on the Logitech site, and being a developer, that problem may be solved soon.

Other than that, I LOVE this headset.”
